This Sunday morning we will continue looking at reasons why a Christian can and should rejoice. In the evening service we have reached Ephesians 5:2-5. God wants us to walk in love. These few verses give us an idea what it means to walk in love.
Sunday morning's message on rejoicing will focus on rejoicing in our salvation. The main text, Luke 10:20, speaks of the book of Life and this directs us to a wonderful theme that stretches from Exodus all the way through to Revelation. In a very real way, it strecthes from before the foundation of the world to eternity.
Many of us have a tendency to base our joy upon the wrong foundations. Many good things give us joy, but we must choose carefully the primary reason for our rejoicing.
When we choose or allow the wrong primary reason for our joy we inevitably choose the wrong foundation upon which we build much of our life.
The link between the wrong primary reason for joy and a wrong foundation in our lives is the fact that our lives often follow and focus upon that which gives us joy.
Make sure you are here Sunday as we look at the awesome Biblical truth of the Book of Life.
