We had good meetings yesterday and I thank the Lord. We were a little down in numbers with different ones away on holiday or with sickness, but regardless of numbers, I believe God blessed.
The singing was great, this is due in a big way to Derek, our song leader, being back with us. We hope he enjoyed his break but we are glad to have him back. I tried leading one song yesterday morning and anyone there will tell you it was not my finest hour! We sang, or I tried to sing at least, "Before the Throne". It is a modern hymn with timeless truths.
We were glad to have a gentleman visit with us in the evening and want to welcome anyone to come and visit us some time.
