a.       Forgiveness for Guilty




  • We do not need to find specific mention of forgiveness for abortion because forgiveness for all sin includes all sins 





    • I John 1:7




But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.






    • Ephesians 1:7




(4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:  (5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  (6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.  (7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

(3) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.  (4) But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  (5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  (6) Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;  (7) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.


Conclusion:


Every Scriptural passage we have seen, and many others beside, speaks of the child in the womb as an actual human being. God views the child in the womb as alive and human just as much as the child of 5 or the man of 50!  


These Scriptures reveal several vital truths about the unborn child from his earliest stages:




  • They are 100% human (agreed by science)

  • They are unique individuals (agreed by science)

  • They are considered alive before birth

  • They have intrinsic worth – just as much as any born individual

    • Intrinsic value says something is of value simply by virtue of what it is

    • Instrumental value says something is of value only if it performs some action or role



  • They have a specific purpose in the eyes of God

  • We are all born sinners
