It used to be that every scientist, more or less, believed in God, but many of them probably did not really. But, because of the social and academic influences of the time they professed to believe. Now things have changed. So instead of looking at IQ levels, we need to consider the many other factors involved.
My grandfather used to know a brilliant scientist who understood everything you could know about molecular structures, but he could not make a cup of tea. The headline could be, "Intelligent People Incapable of Simple Tasks".
Headlines and statistics are no true measure of the facts of life as both can be easily manipulated.
