Sermons this Sunday

Sunday morning we will continue our resurrection series - Death, the End of the Beginning.

This week we come to the resurrection event at Nain when Jesus resurrects a widow's only son. Each resurrection in Scripture I think teaches something specific. On this occassion I believe we see the compassion of Christ and we something of a compact illustration of the history of humanity. Just as the dead man could not ask for help, and did not deserve help, neither can we help ourselves or derserve any help. Yet down through history from Genesis 3 and onwards we see a loving God reaching out to His lost and dying creation. This Sunday we will take a glimpse at the history of salvation.

Sunday evening we conclude our three week look at Walking With God by Walking in the Word. We have looked at What the Bible Is, How to Read the Bible and finally we will look at How to Understand the Bible.

I am looking forward to seeing every in the services and pray that you enjoy your weekend!
